Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By instructing us to commence work, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full. Commencement of work—whether by written, verbal, or electronic instruction—constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. Quotations & Estimates

All quotations and estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Any variations or additional works requested outside the original scope may be subject to additional charges.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due within fourteen (14) days from the date of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to charge interest of 2.5% per month on overdue accounts.

4. Deposits

For larger projects or materials-heavy works, a deposit may be required prior to commencement. The amount and terms of any deposit will be confirmed in writing on the quotation or invoice. Work may not commence until the agreed deposit has been received.

5. Cancellation Policy

Where an appointment or scheduled work is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee equivalent to two (2) hours of labour will be charged.

6. Waste Disposal

All waste removal and disposal is chargeable unless expressly included in the quotation. Charges will depend on volume, type of waste, and disposal costs incurred.  Any skips of ton bags required will be charged at cost.

7. Materials & Ownership

All materials supplied and installed remain the property of the company until full payment of all associated invoices has been received. The company reserves the right to recover any unpaid materials where legally permitted.

8. Access & Site Conditions

The customer is responsible for providing safe, reasonable, and timely access to the property and work areas. Delays or additional costs arising from restricted access, inaccurate information, or site conditions not disclosed in advance may be chargeable.

9. Use of Photographs

The company reserves the right to take and use photographs of completed or in-progress work for the purposes of marketing, advertising, social media, and website content. No personal identifying information or sensitive property details will be disclosed without prior consent.

If you do not wish for photographs of your property or work to be used, please notify us prior to the commencement of work.

10. Liability

While all reasonable care is taken, we shall not be liable for:

·       Pre-existing defects or structural issues;

·       Hidden or unforeseen problems not reasonably identifiable prior to or during work;

·       Delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, including materials supply delays or weather conditions.

11. Complaints & Defects

Any concerns regarding workmanship must be reported within 7 days of completion. We will assess and, where appropriate, remedy any genuine defects in workmanship.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Guernsey.
